Responsibilities:

  • Motivate, inspire and transform people by effectively leading and managing one- and two-day communications training programs
  • Coach individuals one-on-one, responding to individual needs in the moment
  • Showcase and demonstrate the world’s best communication habits! After all, you will be representing the go-to communications training and consulting firm as an excellent, enthusiastic communicator
  • Flex to meet needs in the moment – client service is the name of your game, and custom, listener-focused insights are what you pride yourself on providing
  • Stay connected – to Decker and to our clients – and share relevant intel and insights
  • Identify what clients need, including opportunities to expand business
  • Keep abreast of communication trends and best practices, and provide thought leadership to team on how to best incorporate them
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales to generate research and case studies for new and existing clients

Requirements:

We’re Looking for You Because:

  • You’re hungry for a hands-on leadership role! You ooze enthusiasm around marketing, creating connection, digital solutions, writing new copy and developing new partnerships. You’ll get to set the vision and be an integral player on a small-and-mighty team. We love our jobs, and we want you to love your job, too.

This role has a unique opportunity to lead the best parts of B2B marketing! You will:

  • Own the Decker Brand, including the creation and evolution of our sub-brands, products and assets
  • Specify and implement market expansion and new product launch plans
  • Define and leverage opportunities to pitch and provide thought leadership, apply for (and win) awards, and showcase our status as the leading global communication firm
  • Write pithy messaging, including blogs, emails, social media posts, web copy and more
  • Create case studies, client testimonials, compelling videos and collateral materials for our programs and relationship management team
  • Generate leads and optimize funnel-filling opportunities
  • Lead content strategy, design and development of decker.com
  • Run Decker’s social media channels (including both strategy and execution) and lead the charge for new opportunities
  • Collaborate with our sales team (full disclosure: they can sometimes be demanding because they’re really good at their jobs)

You should have several examples of times when you developed, demonstrated and executed these things. And you should be eager to tell us about those times.

General Responsibilities:

  • Create personalized class materials for all Decker Communications training programs
  • Assemble and pack materials based on weekly schedule
  • Assist in morning set up and afternoon break down of all in-house trainings

  • Organize and restock office materials, snacks and general inventory
  • Greet all incoming guests with a smile
  • General data entry
