Your Responsibilities

  • Be the expert communications consultant with executive clients. Coach and consult on both content and delivery (whether for a formal, main-stage presentation or a simple team meeting).
  • Help executives communicate and navigate organizational change or other big initiatives at the company.
  • Develop ongoing and new business as a result of your amazing skills to include monthly recurring coaching, event coaching and/or consulting services.
  • Manage client relationships so they can’t live without you!
  • Deliver Decker’s Platinum executive coaching sessions, as well as other training programs.
  • Work closely with the Relationship Management team to identify and develop opportunities for executive delivery with existing and with new clients. This includes partnering to provide expertise and creating solution plans. You may even join a sales meeting or two.
  • Support marketing (as needed) to develop the positioning and packaging of executive delivery services.
  • Model the highest level of impactful executive communications coaching and consulting for our entire Decker Delivery Team.
  • Represent the firm as an enthusiastic, excellent verbal and written communicator.
  • Keep abreast of communication trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 10 years recent corporate experience in executive coaching, consulting and/or professional development.
  • “Get it” factor: You’re proactive, able to anticipate client and team needs
  • Highly coachable
  • High degree of professionalism, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with drive for success
  • Travel is required (trips typically 1-3 days in length)
